Verse 86 from surah Al-Baqarah

﴿أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 86]

English - Sahih International

2:86 Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

They are the people who exchange the Afterlife for this life, preferring what is temporary to what is eternal.
Their suffering will not be lightened, and they will have no one to help them.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

Those are they who have bought the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter. Their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped.

Olaika allatheena ishtarawoo alhayata alddunya bialakhirati fala yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yunsaroona

These are the people who buy the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter: their penalty shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped.
