﴿وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا﴾
[ النبأ: 9]
78:9 And made your sleep [a means for] rest
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd I made your sleep the end point of your activeness, so that you may rest.

And have made your sleep as a thing for rest.

WajaAAalna nawmakum subatan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And made your sleep for rest,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And We have made your sleep as a thing for rest.
