﴿رَّبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا الْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ﴾
[ الدخان: 12]
44:12 [They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey will then beg their Lord, asking him, “O our Lord! Turn the punishment that you sent upon us, away from us.
If you turn it away from us, we will believe in You and in Your Messenger.
”
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
(They will say): "Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!"
phonetic Transliteration
Rabbana ikshif AAanna alAAathaba inna muminoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
(They will say:) "Our Lord! remove the Penalty from us, for we do really believe!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
(They will say): "Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!"
