surah Araf aya 130 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 130]
7:130 And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd indeed I gave the people of Pharaoh a number of years of drought and famine, testing them with a shortage of fruits and crops, so that they might reflect and realise that this was a punishment from Allah because of their disbelief, and so they might repent to Him.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And indeed We punished the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops, etc.), that they might remember (take heed).

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
We punished the people of Pharaoh with years (of droughts) and shortness of crops; that they might receive admonition.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And indeed We punished the people of Fir`awn with years of drought and lack of fruits (crops), that they might remember (take heed).
