﴿كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ﴾
[ القيامة: 20]
75:20 No! But you love the immediate
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishNay, the matter is not as you claimed about the impossibility of resurrection.
You know that the One Who was able to create you the first time is not unable to bring you back to life after you die.
However, the reason for your denial of resurrection, is your love for the fleeting life of the world.

Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world,

Kalla bal tuhibboona alAAajilata

Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
But no! Rather you love the present life of this world,
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
