surah Saba aya 45 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَكَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا مِعْشَارَ مَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا رُسُلِي ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ﴾
[ سبأ: 45]
34:45 And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd the previous nations such as Aad, Thamud and the people of Lot denied.
And the idolaters from your people have not reached even a tenth of the strength, might and numbers the previous nations reached.
Every one of them denied their Messenger, so the wealth, strength and numbers they were given did not benefit, and so My punishment befell them.
So see the outcome of My reproachment and that of My punishment.

And those before them belied; these have not received one tenth (1/10th) of what We had granted to those (of old), yet they belied My Messengers, then how (terrible) was My denial (punishment)!
phonetic Transliteration
Wakaththaba allatheena min qablihim wama balaghoo miAAshara ma ataynahum fakaththaboo rusulee fakayfa kana nakeeri
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And those before them denied; these have not received even a tenth of what We had granted to those (of old); yet they denied My Messengers. Then how (terrible) was My denial!
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
34:45 And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not translate in arabic
وكذب الذين من قبلهم وما بلغوا معشار ما آتيناهم فكذبوا رسلي فكيف كان نكير

Similarly acted those who preceded them, they denied Our divine message and they rejected the truth, notwithstanding Allahs grace abounding in them. Affluence inflated them with pride whereas these people have not attained one tenth of what those of old attained: affluence in knowledge, wealth, power and the art of construction. Puffed up, they accused Our Messengers of falsehoods and how evil was the end for which they were destined

(34:45) Those who went before them also denounced (Allah's Messengers) as liars. They have not attained even a tenth of what We had given them. But when they rejected My Messengers, calling them liars, how terrible was My chastisement! *65
And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not meaning
*65) That is, "The people of Makkah have not attained even one-tenth of the power and grandeur and prosperity that was possessed by those people. But just see how they went to their doom ultimately and their power and wealth could not avail them anything, when they refused to believe in the realities presented before them by the Prophets, and founded their system of life on falsehood."

اِن سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے لوگ جھٹلا چکے ہیں جو کچھ ہم نے اُنہیں دیا تھا اُس کے عشر عشیر کو بھی یہ نہیں پہنچے ہیں مگر جب انہوں نے میرے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تو دیکھ لو کہ میری سزا کیسی سخت تھی
