surah Zumar aya 59 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَاءَتْكَ آيَاتِي فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ﴾
[ الزمر: 59]
39:59 But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe reality is different to what you are now asserting by wishing for guidance.
My signs came to you and you denied them, being arrogant.
You were of those who rejected, disbelieving in Allah, His signs and His messengers.

Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.

Bala qad jaatka ayatee fakaththabta biha waistakbarta wakunta mina alkafireena

"(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'"
