Surah Qalam ayat 23 Tafsir Quran 68:23

﴿فَانطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ﴾
[ القلم: 23]

68:23 So they set out, while lowering their voices,

So off they went whispering to one another talking secretly

And so they went onward to their orchard whispering to each other as to how they would accomplish their desire

قَالُواْ سُبْحَـنَ رَبّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَـلِمِينَ- فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَـوَمُونَ- قَالُواْ يوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَـغِينَ- عَسَى رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْراً مّنْهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَى رَبّنَا رغِبُونَ- كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الاْخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ-

( So they went off ) towards the fields, (saying one unto another in low tones:

So they departed, conversing in secret low tones (saying),
