Surah Raad ayat 25 Tafsir Quran 13:25

﴿وَالَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ﴾
[ الرعد: 25]

13:25 But those who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.

And those who break God’s covenant after pledging it and sever what God has commanded should be cemented and work corruption in the earth through unbelief and acts of disobedience theirs shall be the curse banishment from God’s mercy and theirs shall be the awful abode the awful sequel in the abode of the Hereafter namely Hell.

Those who do not fulfill their covenant with Allah after they have solemnly vowed to Him to do what has been enjoined, disjoining humanity and policy instead of joining them, separating the two hands joining one another in fidelity, disjoining all that Allah has ordained be joined together and making mischief on earth or creating discord were born to be losers. These and such persons have come within the measure of Allah s wrath, and in their final abode they will have passed through nature to eternal suffering

Characteristics of the Wretched Ones which will lead to the Curse and the Evil Home This is the destination of the Wretched ones and these are their characteristics.
Allah mentioned their end in the Hereafter, to contrast the end that the believers earned, since their characteristics were to the opposite of the believer's qualities in this life.
The latter used to keep Allah's covenant and join that which Allah has ordained on them to join.
As for the former, they used to, يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مِيثَـقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الاٌّرْضِ ( break the covenant of Allah, after its ratification, and sever that which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land, ) An authentic Hadith states that,
«آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثٌ: إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ، وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَان»
( The signs of a hypocrite are three: Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie; whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise ); if you entrust him, he proves to be dishonest.") In another narration, the Prophet said,
«وَإِذَا عَاهَدَ غَدَرَ وَإِذَا خَاصَمَ فَجَر»
( If he enters into a covenant, he betrays it; and if he disputes, he proves to be most quarrelsome. ) This is why Allah said next, أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ ( on them is the curse, ) they will be cast away from Allah's mercy, وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ ( and for them is the unhappy home.
) the evil end and destination, وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ ( Their dwelling place will be Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest. ) 13:18 اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَآءُ وَيَقَدِرُ وَفَرِحُواْ بِالْحَيَوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا الْحَيَوةُ الدُّنْيَا فِى الاٌّخِرَةِ إِلاَّ مَتَـعٌ

( And those who break the covenant of Allah ) those who refrain from the obligations of Allah ( after ratifying it ) after making it sacred, more firm and confirmed, ( and sever that which Allah hath commanded should be joined ) of ties with one’s kinsfolk as well as of belief in Muhammad ( pbuh ) and in the Qur’an, ( and make mischief in the earth ) through disbelief, idolatry, and calling to the worship of other than Allah: ( theirs ) the reward of those who are thus described ( is the curse ) Allah’s wrath in the life of this world ( and theirs the ill abode ) i.e. the Fire in the Hereafter.

And those who break the Covenant of Allah, after its ratification, and sever that which Allah has commanded to be joined (i.e. they sever the bond of kinship and are not good to their relatives), and work mischief in the land, on them is the curse (i.e. they will be far away from Allah's Mercy); And for them is the unhappy (evil) home (i.e. Hell).
