Quran 22:61 Tafsir Al-Jalalayn
That help is because God makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night that is to say He makes each enter into the other by increasing the one and decreasing the other which is a sign of His power exalted be He the same power that produces His help and because God is Hearer of the supplications of believers Seer of them giving them faith and responding to their supplications.
Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
This is it, for Allah Who causes the night to lose its character and identity by absorption into the day and causes the day to lose its character and identity by absorption into the night is indeed able to keep His promise and His support to whom He will. And Allah is indeed Samiun (Ominipresent) with unlimited audition and Bassirun (He clearly sees all things)
Quran 22:61 Tafsir Ibn Kathir
The Creator and Controller of this World is Allah
Allah tells us that He is the Creator Who directs the affairs of His creation as He wills.
He tells us:
( Say: "O Allah! Possessor of the power, You give power to whom You will, and You take power from whom You will, and You endue with honor whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will.
In Your Hand is the good.
Verily, You are able to do all things.
You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night, You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living.
And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit. ) 3:26-27 The meaning of "merging" the night into the day and the day into the night is that the one encroaches upon the other, and vice versa.
Sometimes the night is long and the day is short, as in winter, and sometimes the day is long and the night is short, as in summer.
( And verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer. ) He hears what His servants say, and He sees them, nothing about them or their movement is hidden from Him whatsoever.
When Allah tells us that He is controlling the affairs of all that exists, and that He judges, and there is none to reverse His judgement, He says:
ذلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ
( That is because Allah -- He is the Truth, ) meaning, the true God, besides Whom no one deserves worship.
He is the Possessor of the greatest sovereignty; whatever He wills happens and whatever He does not will does not happen.
Everything is in need of Him and submits to Him.
( and what they invoke besides Him, it is false. ) meaning, the idols and false gods.
Everything that is worshipped instead of Him -- may He be exalted -- is false, because it can neither bring benefit nor cause harm.
( And verily, Allah -- He is the Most High, the Most Great. ) This is like the Ayat:
وَهُوَ الْعَلِىُّ الْعَظِيمُ
( and He is the Most High, the Most Great ) 42:4
( the Most Great, the Most High ) 13:9.
Everything is subject to His might and power; there is no God except Him and no Lord besides Him, because He is the Almighty and there is none mightier than He, the Most High and there is none higher than He, the Most Great and there is none greater than He.
Exalted, sanctified, and glorified be He far above all that the evildoers say.
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(22:61) So it is *106 because it is Allah Who brings forth the day from the night and the night from the day *107 and He hears everything and sees everything. *108
That is because Allah causes the night meaning
*106) " So it is " ( as stated in the preceding paragraph ) because Allah is the Ruler of the universe and has the power to give punishments and rewards to those who deserve them.
*107) The fact that " Allah brings forth .........day " is a proof that He is the Master, Sovereign and Ruler of the universe.
But the deeper meaning of the verse is that Allah, Who is able to bring forth the light of the day out of the darkness of the night, has the power to bring out the light of the Truth out of the darkness of disbelief and ignorance, and the light of justice out of the darkness of tyranny.
*108) He hears everything and sees everything and is not unaware of anything.

( That ) the punishment of whoever transgresses against his brother ( is because Allah maketh the night to pass into the day ) He makes the night longer than the day ( and maketh the day to pass into the night ) and makes the day longer than the night, ( and because Allah is Hearer ) of what His created beings say, ( Seer ) of their works.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
That is because Allah merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Ayats from Quran in English
- O you who covers himself [with a garment],
- [And] scorner, going about with malicious gossip -
- And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes,
- But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.
- So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy.
- And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -
- And they say, "There is none but our worldly life, and we will not be
- Reclining on them, facing each other.
- And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life,
- So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.
