Surah Al Isra ayat 96 Tafsir Quran 17:96

﴿قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 96]

17:96 Say, "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you. Indeed he is ever, concerning His servants, Acquainted and Seeing."

Say ‘God suffices as a witness between me and you of my sincerity. Truly He is Aware Seer of His servants’ Knower of what they hide and what they manifest.

Say to them: Enough is Allah to be my witness and your witness; He is indeed Khabirun (Omniscient) and Bassirun (Omnipresent) Whose constant vigilance is extended to all His creatures

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الاٌّقَاوِيلِ - لأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ - ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ ( And if he had forged a false saying concerning Us, We surely would have seized him by his right hand, And then We certainly would have cut off his life artery. ) ( 69:44-46 ) Allah said; إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا ( Verily, He is Ever the All-Knower, the All-Seer of His servants. ) meaning, He knows best who among them deserves blessings, good treatment and guidance, and who deserves to be doomed and led astray.
He says:

(17:96) (O Muhammad), say to them, "Allah suffices for a witness to judge between you and me: for He is fully aware of and is observing what His servants are doing." *109

Say, "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between meaning

*109) That is, " Allah is fully aware of all my efforts which I am expending in order to reform you, and He is fully aware of the efforts you arc making against my mission.
His witness is sufficient because He will pass the final judgement.

He says:

( Say ) O Muhammad, to the people of Mecca: ( Allah sufficeth for a witness between me and you ) that I am a messenger to you ( Lo! He is ) in relation to sending messengers to His servants ( Knower, Seer of His slaves ) those who believe and those who do not.

Say: "Sufficient is Allah for a witness between me and you. Verily! He is the All-Knower, the All-Seer of His slaves."
