﴿لَّا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًا مَّخْذُولًا﴾

(17:22) Do not associate another deity with Allah, *24 otherwise you shall he reduced to a state of ignominy and helplessness.
