Walaqad baAAathna fee kulli ommatin rasoolan ani oAAbudoo Allaha wajtaniboo attaghoota faminhum (surah Nahl: 36)

﴿وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴾

wa laqad ba'aṡnā fī kulli ummatir rasụlan ani'budullāha wajtanibuṭ-ṭāgụt, fa min-hum man hadallāhu wa min-hum man ḥaqqat 'alaihiḍ-ḍalālah, fa sīrụ fil-arḍi fanẓurụ kaifa kāna 'āqibatul-mukażżibīn

English translation of the meaning

And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.

And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, etc.i. e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah)." Then of them were some whom Allah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth).

Dan sungguh, Kami telah mengutus seorang rasul untuk setiap umat (untuk menyerukan), “Sembahlah Allah, dan jauhilah tagut”, kemudian di antara mereka ada yang diberi petunjuk oleh Allah dan ada pula yang tetap dalam kesesatan. Maka berjalanlah kamu di bumi dan perhatikanlah bagaimana kesudahan orang yang mendustakan (rasul-rasul).
