Alam ya'tihim nabao allatheena min qablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmi ibraheema (surah Tawbah: 70)

﴿أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ ۚ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ﴾

Alam ya'tihim nabao allatheena min qablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmi ibraheema waas-habi madyana walmu'tafikati atat-hum rusuluhum bilbayyinati fama kana Allahu liyathlimahum walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoon

a lam ya`tihim naba`ullażīna ming qablihim qaumi nụḥiw wa 'ādiw wa ṡamụda wa qaumi ibrāhīma wa aṣ-ḥābi madyana wal-mu`tafikāt, atat-hum rusuluhum bil-bayyināt, fa mā kānallāhu liyaẓlimahum wa lāking kānū anfusahum yaẓlimụn

English translation of the meaning

Has there not reached them the news of those before them - the people of Noah and [the tribes of] 'Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.

Has not the story reached them of those before them? - The people of Nuh (Noah), 'Ad, and Thamud, the people of Ibrahim (Abraham), the dwellers of Madyan (Midian) and the cities overthrown [i.e. the people to whom Lout (Lot) preached], to them came their Messengers with clear proofs. So it was not Allah Who wronged them, but they used to wrong themselves.

Apakah tidak sampai kepada mereka berita (tentang) orang-orang yang sebelum mereka, (yaitu) kaum Nuh, ‘Ad, samud, kaum Ibrahim, penduduk Madyan, dan (penduduk) negeri-negeri yang telah musnah? Telah datang kepada mereka rasul-rasul dengan membawa bukti-bukti yang nyata; Allah tidak menzalimi mereka, tetapi merekalah yang menzalimi diri mereka sendiri.
