﴿ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّهُ عَلَيْكَ ۖ مِنْهَا قَائِمٌ وَحَصِيدٌ﴾
[ هود: 100]

English - Sahih International

11:100 That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down].

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

I inform you, O Messenger, of the incidents of the towns that have been mentioned in this sūrah.
The landmarks of some of these towns still exist and the landmarks of others have been wiped out without any trace.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped.
