﴿قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 113]
23:113 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey will reply by saying: “We stayed for one day or part of a day, so ask those who pay attention to counting days and months”.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account."

Qaloo labithna yawman aw baAAda yawmin faisali alAAaddeena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account."
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account."
