And when they see a sign, they ridicule (37:14)

﴿وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ﴾
[ الصافات: 14]

37:14 And when they see a sign, they ridicule

And when they witness a miracle from the miracles of the Prophet ( peace be upon him ) that prove his truthfulness, they exaggerate in showing astonishment and mocking it.

And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it.

Waitha raaw ayatan yastaskhiroona

And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery,

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And when they see an Ayah (a sign) from Allah, they mock at it.
