﴿وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ﴾
[ الانشقاق: 17]
84:17 And [by] the night and what it envelops
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd He took an oath by the night and what is gathered therein.

And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness;

Waallayli wama wasaqa

The Night and its Homing;
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
