114:2 The Sovereign of mankind.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English“The King of the people, who does whatever He wishes with them.
They do not have any real king other than Him.

- They will say, "Did there not come to you your messengers with clear proofs?" They
- Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?"
