﴿قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لَا أَمْلِكُ إِلَّا نَفْسِي وَأَخِي ۖ فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ﴾

5:25 [Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother, so part us from the defiantly disobedient people."

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

Moses said to his Lord, ‘O Lord, I have no authority over anyone besides myself and my brother, Aaron.
So separate us from those who do not obey You and Your messenger’.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

He [Musa (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother, so separate us from the people who are the Fasiqun (rebellious and disobedient to Allah)!"

phonetic Transliteration

Qala rabbi innee la amliku illa nafsee waakhee faofruq baynana wabayna alqawmi alfasiqeena

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

He said: "O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother: so separate us from this rebellious people!"

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

He [Musa] said: "O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother, so Ifruq us from the rebellious people!"
