﴿قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَ﴾
[ القلم: 31]
68:31 They said, "O woe to us; indeed we were transgressors.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey said, regretfully, “How much we have lost! Indeed, we transgressed the limits by depriving the poor of their rights.
”

They said: "Woe to us! Verily, we were Taghun (transgressors and disobedient, etc.)

Qaloo ya waylana inna kunna tagheena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They said: "Alas for us! We have indeed transgressed!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They said: "Woe to us! Verily, we were Taghin."
