11:41 And [Noah] said, "Embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

Noah said to those who believed among his family and his people to board the Ark, and that its sailing and landing would be in the name of Allah, saying that his Lord was Forgiving of the sins of those of His servants who repent to Him, and was Compassionate with them.
By His mercy to the believers, He saved them from being destroyed.

And he [Nuh (Noah)] said: "Embark therein, in the Name of Allah will be its moving course and its resting anchorage. Surely, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 12, Page 43)

Waqala irkaboo feeha bismi Allahi majraha wamursaha inna rabbee laghafoorun raheemun

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

So he said: "Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of Allah, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And he said: "Embark therein: in the Name of Allah will be its (moving) course and its (resting) anchorage. Surely, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

*45). Trust in God is the quintessential characteristic of the believer. True, like any other person, the believer also has recourse to worldly measures. It is, in fact, necessary to use them on account of the laws of nature under which all human beings live and operate. One thing, however, differentiates a believer from a man of the world. A believer, while having recourse to worldly measures, places his reliance on God rather than on the measures he adopts. He is well aware that none of his measures can be of any avail unless they coincide with God's favour and mercy.

نوحؑ نے کہا "سوار ہو جاؤ اِس میں، اللہ ہی کے نام سے ہے اس کا چلنا بھی اور اس کا ٹھیرنا بھی، میرا رب بڑا غفور و رحیم ہے"
