surah Al-Haqqah aya 44 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ﴾
[ الحاقة: 44]
69:44 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd if Muhammad was to fabricate lies and attribute them to Me, which I had not said.

And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah),

Walaw taqawwala AAalayna baAAda alaqaweeli

And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And if he had forged a false saying concerning Us,
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
