surah Al Isra aya 45 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسْتُورًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 45]
17:45 And when you recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishWhen you - O Messenger - recite the Qur’ān and they hear the warnings and admonitions it contains, I place between you and those who do not have faith in the Day of Judgment a barrier that prevents them from understanding the Qur’ān, as a punishment for their turning away from it.

And when you (Muhammad SAW) recite the Quran, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil (or screen their hearts, so they hear or understand it not).

Waitha qarata alqurana jaAAalna baynaka wabayna allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati hijaban mastooran
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible:
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And when you recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
