surah Kahf aya 70 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ فَإِنِ اتَّبَعْتَنِي فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِي عَن شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا﴾
[ الكهف: 70]
18:70 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishKhidr said to Moses: If you follow me, then do not ask me about anything that you see me doing until I myself tell you the reason.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you."
phonetic Transliteration
Qala faini ittabaAAtanee fala tasalnee AAan shayin hatta ohditha laka minhu thikran
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it."
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention of it to you."
