﴿فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ﴾
[ الصافات: 70]
37:70 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishSo they hastily followed the footsteps of their forefathers in deviance, as if they were harassed and forced into doing so.

So they (too) made haste to follow in their footsteps!

Fahum AAala atharihim yuhraAAoona
