surah Assaaffat aya 70 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ﴾
[ الصافات: 70]
37:70 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishSo they hastily followed the footsteps of their forefathers in deviance, as if they were harassed and forced into doing so.
