surah Baqarah aya 8 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾
[ البقرة: 8]
2:8 And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAmong people are some who claim to have faith in Allah, when they actually do not believe.

And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in fact they believe not.

Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.

We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
