surah Maryam aya 8 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا﴾
[ مريم: 8]
19:8 He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?"
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishZechariah said, amazed at the power of Allah: “How will a child be born to me when my wife is barren and I have reached the limit of old age and weakness of bones?”
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He said: "My Lord! How can I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I have reached the extreme old age."
phonetic Transliteration
Qala rabbi anna yakoonu lee ghulamun wakanati imraatee AAaqiran waqad balaghtu mina alkibari AAitiyyan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son, when my wife is barren and I have grown quite decrepit from old age?"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: "My Lord! How can I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I have reached the extreme old age."
