Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThat which you have been ordered, i.
e.
, coming out of ihraam by shaving the head, clipping the nails, removing dirt, fulfilling the vow and circumambulating the House, is what Allah has made obligatory on you.
So respect what Allah has made obligatory on you.
Whoever refrains from what Allah has ordered him to refrain from during his ihraam, out of respect for not trespassing the limits of Allah and making lawful its prohibitions, it is better for him in this world and the afterlife in the sight of his Lord.
O people, camels, cows and sheep amongst livestock have been made lawful for you.
He did not make unlawful for you hami, bahirah or wasilah.
He only made unlawful for you what you find in the Qur’ān, such as carrion, blood and so forth.
Stay far from the impurity of idols and stay far from lying and false evidence.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

So be it, and he who honours what Allah has ordained to be observed will have accomplished what is laudable and acceptable to Him And in that connection, the flesh of cattle has been rendered lawful to you -camels, cows, sheep and the like animals reared for food- except those designated to you as forbidden. Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(22:30) This was (the object for which the Ka`bah was built,) and whoso 30 observes the sanctity of the things ordained by Allah, it will be best for him in the sight of his Lord. *54
That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah meaning
*54) Though the "command" is of a general nature, here it refers particularly to the prohibitions which are connected with the "Sacred Mosque", Hajj, 'Umrah and Makkah. Incidentally, there is a subtle hint in it to the Quraish; who had driven out the Muslims from Makkah and debarred them from Hajj and violated the sanctity of the "Ancient House" by associating indecent, filthy, and ungodly rites with Hajj and the House in contradiction to the ways of Abraham.
