﴿قَالُوا أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 82]
23:82 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey said, unbelievingly and denyingly: “When we die and turn into dust and decomposed bones, will we be raised alive to be reckoned?

They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed?

Qaloo aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamabAAoothoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again?
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed"
