And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to (37:39)

﴿وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾
[ الصافات: 39]

37:39 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do -

O idolaters! Your requital will only be for the disbelief and sins you used to commit in the world.

And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world);

phonetic Transliteration

Wama tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;-

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do.
