And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it (3:85)

﴿وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ﴾
[ آل عمران: 85]

3:85 And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

Whoever seeks a path other than that which Allah has endorsed – the path of surrendering ( Islam ) – it will not be accepted from them by Allah.
They will be of those who have lost their souls by entering the fire of Hell.

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

phonetic Transliteration

Waman yabtaghi ghayra alislami deenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee alakhirati mina alkhasireena

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
