﴿قَالَ يَا هَارُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوا﴾
[ طه: 92]
20:92 [Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray,
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishMoses said to his brother Aaron: “What was it that stopped you, when you saw them go astray by worshipping the calf besides Allah,

[Musa (Moses)] said: "O Harun (Aaron)! What stopped you when you saw them going astray;
phonetic Transliteration
Qala ya haroonu ma manaAAaka ith raaytahum dalloo
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
(Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
(Musa) said: "O Harun! What prevented you when you saw them going astray;"
