surah Ahzab aya 10 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿إِذْ جَاءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ الظُّنُونَا﴾
[ الأحزاب: 10]
33:10 [Remember] when they came at you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [in fear], and hearts reached the throats and you assumed about Allah [various] assumptions.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd that was when the disbelievers came to you from the top of the valley and from the bottom, from the East and West, when the eyes turned away from everything besides seeing the enemy and the hearts reached the throats due to intense fear.
And you were thinking different thoughts regarding Allah.
At times you were thinking of help and at time you were thinking of losing hope from Him.

Ith jaookum min fawqikum wamin asfala minkum waith zaghati alabsaru wabalaghati alquloobu alhanajira watathunnoona biAllahi alththunoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
Behold! they came on you from above you and from below you, and behold, the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats, and ye imagined various (vain) thoughts about Allah!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes grew wild and the hearts reached to the throats, and you were harboring doubts about Allah.

(33:10) When they came upon you from above you and from below you, *20 when your eyes were stupefied with horror and your hearts leapt to your throats, and you began to entertain diverse thoughts about Allah.
