﴿قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 14]
21:14 They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThese wrongdoers who confessed to their sins said: “Woe and destruction for us.
We were wrongdoers due to our disbelief in Allah”.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They cried: "Woe to us! Certainly! We have been Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.)."

Qaloo ya waylana inna kunna thalimeena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They said: "Ah! woe to us! We were indeed wrong-doers!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
