surah Sad aya 16 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ﴾
[ ص: 16]
38:16 And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account"
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd they said mockingly: “Our Lord, give us our share of punishment in the worldly life before the day of judgment”.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They say: "Our Lord! Hasten to us Qittana (i.e. our Record of good and bad deeds so that we see it) before the Day of Reckoning!"

Waqaloo rabbana AAajjil lana qittana qabla yawmi alhisabi
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They say: "Our Lord! hasten to us our sentence (even) before the Day of Account!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They say: "Our Lord! Hasten to us Qittana before the Day of Reckoning!"
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
