surah Baqarah aya 225 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿لَّا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ﴾
[ البقرة: 225]
2:225 Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAllah will not take you to account for those oaths that you swear unintentionally, such as if someone carelessly says, ‘No, by Allah!’ or ‘Yes, by Allah!’ For such oaths there is no need to make any compensation, nor any further consequences.
However, He will take you to account for intentional oaths.
Allah forgives and tolerates the sins of His servants and is not hasty in sending punishment.

Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
Allah will not call you to account for that which is unintentional in your oaths, but He will call you to account for that which your hearts have earned. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing.

(2:225) Allah hears everything you utter and knows everything. Allah does not call you to Account for unintentional and meaningless oaths, *244 but will surely take you to task for oaths taken deliberately and in earnest : Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
