surah Anbiya aya 26 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَانَهُ ۚ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 26]
21:26 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe idolaters said: “Allah has taken the angels as daughters”.
Pure and exalted is Allah from the lie they say.
The angels are in fact the servants of Allah, honoured by Him and close to Him.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or children)." Glory to Him! They [those whom they call children of Allah i.e. the angels, 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.], are but honoured slaves.
phonetic Transliteration
Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanu waladan subhanahu bal AAibadun mukramoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And they say: "The Most Gracious has begotten children." Glory to Him! They are but honored servants.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
21:26 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is translate in arabic
وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا سبحانه بل عباد مكرمون

And they blasphemously say: Allah has taken up, adopted or begotten a son. Glory be to Him and extolled are His glorious attributes, They -the angels- are but honoured and distinguished worshippers
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(21:26) They say, "The Merciful has offspring." *26 Glory be to Allah!they are His mere servants who have been honoured:

*26) "Offspring" here refers to the angels as is clear from v. 28. The disbelievers of Arabia believed that the angels were the daughters of God.
