﴿وَاللَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ﴾
[ المدثر: 33]
74:33 And [by] the night when it departs
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishHe took an oath by the night when it departs.

And by the night when it withdraws,

Waallayli ith adbara
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And by the Night as it retreateth,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And by the night when it withdraws.
