﴿إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 37]
23:37 Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe only life is the life of this world, not the afterlife.
The living from among us die and are not revived, whilst others are born and live.
We are not going to be taken out after we have died, to be taken to account on the Day of Judgment.
