He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day (57:6)

﴿يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ﴾
[ الحديد: 6]

57:6 He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night, and he is Knowing of that within the breasts.

He enters the night into the day and so the darkness arrives and people sleep; He enters the day into the night and so the light arrives and people go about their business.
He is aware of everything that the hearts of His servants contain; none of it is hidden from Him.

He merges night into day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added into the hours of the day), and merges day into night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added into the hours of the night), and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts.

He merges Night into Day, and He merges Day into Night; and He has full knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

He merges night into day, and merges day into night, and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts.
