﴿بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 90]
23:90 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe matter is not as they claim.
But rather, I have brought them the truth in which there is no doubt.
They are lying in their claiming a partner and child for Allah.
Allah is far above what they say.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars.

We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood!

*83) They are liars because they say that others besides Allah have a share in His Godhead and that there is no Life-after-death, because their first saying contradicts their own admission that Allah is the Owner and the Sovereign of the universe. Then their second assertion is based on the presumption that the All-Powerful Allah cannot recreate what He has created once. This is clearly a contradiction in terms.
