11:14 And if they do not respond to you - then know that the Qur'an was revealed with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you [not] be Muslims?

Quran 11:14 Tafsir Al-Jalalayn
Then if they that is those on whom you call for assistance do not answer you know this address is to the idolaters that it has been revealed enwrapped only in God’s knowledge not as an invention of lies against Him and that an is softened in other words understand it as annahu there is no god save Him. Will you then submit? after this definitive argument; in other words ‘Submit!’
Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
And if they do not respond and such an undertaking they fail to fulfill, then you people must realize that the Quran has indeed originated from Allah and revealed by His Authority, and there is no Ilah but He. Therefore, are you unbelievers going to conform to Islam if indeed you are seeking the truth
Quran 11:14 Tafsir Ibn Kathir
The Messenger grieving by the Statements of the Polytheists, and His Gratification
This statement of Allah, the Exalted, to His Messenger comforted the worries that the polytheists were causing him due to their statements directed towards him.
This is just as Allah says about them,
( And they say: "Why does this Messenger eat food, and walk about in the markets.
Why is not an angel sent down to him to be a warner with him" Or; "(why ) has not a treasure been granted to him, or why has he not a garden whereof he may eat" And the wrongdoers say: "You follow none but a man bewitched.") 25:7-8 Thus, Allah commanded His Messenger and guided him to not let these statements of theirs grieve his heart.
Allah directed him to not let these statements prevent him, or deter him from calling them to Allah, both day and night.
This is as Allah said,
( Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. ) 15:97 Allah says in this verse,
( So perchance you may give up a part of what is revealed unto you, and that your breast feels straitened for it because they say... ) The meaning here is that he ( the Prophet ) may be compelled to give up the Message due to what they ( the polytheists ) say about him.
However, Allah goes on to explain: "You ( Muhammad ) are only a warner and you have an example in your brothers of the Messengers who came before you.
For verily, the previous Messengers were rejected and harmed, yet they were patient until the help of Allah came to them."
An Explanation concerning the Miracle of the Qur'an
Then Allah, the Exalted, explains the miracle of the Qur'an, and that no one is able to produce its like, or even bring ten chapters, or one chapter like it.
The reason for this is that the Speech of the Lord of all that exists is not like the speech of the created beings, just as His attributes are not like the attributes of the creation.
Nothing resembles His existence.
Exalted is He, the Most Holy, and the Sublime.
There is no deity worthy of worship except He and there is no true Lord other than He.
Then Allah goes on to say,
( If then they answer you not, ) Meaning, that if they do not come with a reply to that which you have challenged them with ( to the reproduction of ten chapters like the Qur'an ), then know that it is due to their inability to do so.
Know ( that this is a proof ) that this is the speech revealed from Allah.
It contains His knowledge, His commands and His prohibitions.
Then Allah continues by saying,
( and that there is no God besides Him! Will you then be Muslims )
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(11:14) Then if (your deities) do not respond to your call for help then feel assured that this Book was revealed with the knowledge of Allah, and that there is no true god but Him. Will you, then, surrender (to this truth)? *14
And if they do not respond to meaning
*14).
The argument advanced here serves to establish the divine origin of the Qur'an as well as the oneness of God.
The argument, put succinctly, is as follows:
( i ) If the unbelievers thought that the Qur'an had been authored by some human being, then it ought to be possible for them to compose something which would be the like of it.
Now, unbelievers claim that it is the Prophet ( peace be on him ) - a human being rather than God - who has produced the Qur'an.
In such a case it should be possible for them - for they too are human - to produce such a book.
However, despite the repeated challenges for them to produce something like the Qur'an no one, not even all of them combined, has succeeded in achieving it.
The conclusion is quite evident: the Book was revealed by God and there is no question that it is the work of any human being.
( ii ) The Qur'an quite openly and vehemently denounced the deities which the unbelievers worshipped, and urged them to abandon these as they had no share in God's godhead.
The unbelievers were also asked to mobilize all whom they wished, including their deities - provided they had any power - to assist them in establishing the falsity of the Prophet's claim by producing a book equal to the Qur'an.
But if at such a crucial stage, their deities fail to come to their aid and do not grant them the power to produce something like the Qur'an, what then does that prove? Quite obviously, it proves that these so-called deities had neither the power nor even a shred of the attributes necessary for godhead.
The fact of their becoming deities was purely the work of a few human beings who had invested such weak, mortal creatures with godhead.
Incidentally, this verse also establishes the fact that in terms of chronological sequence the present surah - Hud- was revealed before Surah Yunus.
For in the present surah, the unbelievers have been challenged to produce ten surahs like the Qur'anic ones.
Subsequently, after the unbelievers failed to do so, they were asked in Surah Yunus to produce just one surah like it.

46. )

When they could not respond, Allah said: ( And if they answer not your prayer ) and if the wrong-doers do not answer you, ( then know ) O disbelievers ( that it is revealed ) that Gabriel brought down the Qur’an ( only in the knowledge of Allah ) and with his command; ( and that there is no God save Him. Will ye then be (of ) those who surrender?) and believe in Muhammad ( pbuh ) and in the Qur’an.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
If then they answer you not, know then that the Revelation (this Quran) is sent down with the Knowledge of Allah and that La ilaha illa Huwa: (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! Will you then be Muslims (those who submit to Islam)?
