Quran 11:6 Tafsir Al-Jalalayn
And there is not wa-mā min min is extra a creature dābba is that creature which treads dabba in the earth but the sustenance thereof rests on God sustenance which He has undertaken to provide out of His bounty exalted be He. And He knows its habitation its dwelling-place in this world — or in the loins — and its repository after death or in the womb. All that which is mentioned is in a manifest a clear Book which is the Preserved Tablet al-lawh al-mahfūz.
Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
There is not one single creature domiciled on earth but derives its sustenance from Allah Who knows its settled habitation and the duration of its life span. He also knows the site of its future interment and when it shall be reclaimed for Judgement Hereafter. All such events are recorded in a Book manifest of precision
Quran 11:6 Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah is Responsible for the Provisions of All Creatures
Allah, the Exalted, informs that He is responsible for the provisions of all the creatures that dwell in the earth, whether they are small, large, sea-dwelling or land-dwelling.
He knows their place of dwelling and their place of deposit.
This means that He knows where their journeying will end in the earth and where they will seek shelter when they wish to nest.
This place of nesting is also considered their place of deposit.
`Ali bin Abi Talhah and others reported from Ibn `Abbas that he said concerning the statement,
رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ
( And He knows its dwelling place ) that it means where it resides.
In reference to the statement,
مُسْتَقَرَّهَا
( and its deposit. ) he ( Ibn `Abbas ) said it means where it will die.
Allah informs us that all of this is written in a Book with Allah that explains it in detail.
This is similar to Allah's statement,
( There is not a moving creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you.
We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all ) shall be gathered.) 6:38, and
( And with Him are the keys of the Ghayb (all that is hidden and unseen ), none knows them but He.
And He knows whatever there is in the land and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but he knows it.
There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record.) 6:59
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(11:6) There is not a single moving creature on the earth but Allah is responsible for providing its sustenance. He knows where it dwells and where it will permanently rest. *6 All this is recorded in a clear Book.
And there is no creature on earth meaning
*6).
God is, on the one hand, All-Knowing.
He knows exactly where each of His creatures is, be it the nest of a small bird or the hole of a tiny worm.
On the other hand, God provides sustenance to all, and provides for them wherever they might be.
He is aware at all times of where His creatures spend their lives and where they will breathe their last.
It would be sheer stupidity if someone were to think that by resorting to methods such as covering one's face, or closing one's eyes one would be able to escape God's punishment.
Even if someone succeeds in eluding the Prophet's observation it is to no avail.
For no one can escape God's observation.
Nor should anyone entertain the illusion that God is unaware of the fact that the Prophet ( peace be on him ) was doing his best to communicate the truth to the unbelievers, and that the latter were trying their utmost to clog their ears lest the truth reached them.

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
( And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependeth on Allah ) Allah takes charge of its sustenance. ( He knoweth its habitation ) when it retires at night ( and its repository ) when it dies and is buried. ( All ) i.e. the sustenance of each beast, its lifespan and course ( is in a clear record ) is recorded in the Guarded Tablet; all this is clear, well known and decreed.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And no (moving) living creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah. And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit (in the uterous, grave, etc.). all is in a Clear Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz - the Book of Decrees with Allah).
