Surah Hud ayat 65 Tafsir Quran 11:65

﴿فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ﴾
[ هود: 65]

11:65 But they hamstrung her, so he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied."

But they hamstrung her Qudār hamstrung her at their command and he Sālih said ‘Enjoy yourselves live in your dwellings for three days whereafter you will be destroyed. That is a promise that will not be belied’.

Thus still they disabled her by cutting her hamstring muscles, and there did Saleh say to them: You have only three days to lust after your sinful system of faith and worship and after the way you conduct yourselves in life. This, is indeed, an irrevocable promise not proving untrue

"And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a sign to you, so leave her to graze in Allah's land, and touch her not with evil, lest a near torment should seize you.
( 64 )But they slaughtered her.
So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days.
This is a promise ( a threat ) that will not be belied.
( 65 )So when Our commandment came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that Day.
Verily, your Lord – He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty ( 66 )And As-Sayhah ( awful cry ) overtook the wrongdoers, so they lay ( dead ), prostrate in their homes ( 67 )As if they had never lived there.
No doubt! Verily, Thamud disbelieved in their Lord.
So away with Thamud!) A discussion of this story has already preceded in Surat Al-A'raf and it is sufficient without having to be repeated here.
Allah is the Giver of succes ( 68 )

She was killed by Qudar Ibn Salif and Musda’ Ibn Zahr who divided its meat on 1500 homes, ( and then he said ) Salih said to them after they killed the camel: ( Enjoy life in your dwelling-place ) in your township ( three days! ) for Allah’s chastisement will come upon you on the fourth day. They asked him: What is the sign of this chastisement? He said: You will wake up the first day with pale faces; on the second day your faces will be red and on the third your faces will become dark. Chastisement will come upon you on the fourth day. ( This ) chastisement ( is a threat that will not be belied ) will not be repelled.

But they killed her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. This is a promise (i.e. a threat) that will not be belied."
