Verse 80 from An-Nahl in Arabic

﴿وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ الْأَنْعَامِ بُيُوتًا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا أَثَاثًا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ﴾
[ النحل: 80]

Wallahu jaAAala lakum min buyootikum sakanan wajaAAala lakum min juloodi al-anAAami buyootan tastakhiffoonaha yawma thaAAnikum wayawma iqamatikum wamin aswafiha waawbariha waashAAariha athathan wamataAAan ila heen

wallāhu ja'ala lakum mim buyụtikum sakanaw wa ja'ala lakum min julụdil-an'āmi buyụtan tastakhiffụnahā yauma ẓa'nikum wa yauma iqāmatikum wa min aṣwāfihā wa aubārihā wa asy'ārihā aṡāṡaw wa matā'an ilā ḥīn


English translation of the meaning

And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest and made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment for a time.

اللہ نے تمہارے لیے تمہارے گھروں کو جائے سکون بنایا اس نے جانوروں کی کھالوں سے تمہارے لیے ایسے مکان پیدا کیے جنہیں تم سفر اور قیام، دونوں حالتوں میں ہلکا پاتے ہو اُس نے جانوروں کے صوف اور اون اور بالوں سے تمہارے لیے پہننے اور برتنے کی بہت سی چیزیں پیدا کر دیں جو زندگی کی مدت مقررہ تک تمہارے کام آتی ہیں

And Allah has made for you in your homes an abode, and made for you out of the hides of the cattle (tents for) dwelling, which you find so light (and handy) when you travel and when you stay (in your travels), and of their wool, fur, and hair (sheep wool, camel fur, and goat hair), a furnishing and articles of convenience (e.g. carpets, blankets, etc.), a comfort for a while.

Dan Allah menjadikan rumah-rumah bagimu sebagai tempat tinggal dan Dia menjadikan bagimu rumah-rumah (kemah-kemah) dari kulit hewan ternak yang kamu merasa ringan (membawa)nya pada waktu kamu bepergian dan pada waktu kamu bermukim dan (dijadikan-Nya pula) dari bulu domba, bulu unta, dan bulu kambing, alat-alat rumah tangga dan kesenangan sampai waktu (tertentu).

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(16:80) Allah has made your homes places of rest and peace for you: and from the skins of cattle He has made for you houses *74 which you find light during your journey and at the time of your halt. *75 And from their soft fur and wool and hair, He has furnished you with many things for clothing and domestic service which are very useful to you during your prescribed term of life.

*74) Houses: tents of skin which are in common use in Arabia.
*75) That is, "When you want to start on a journey, you can easily fold your tents and carry them, and when you want to make a short halt, you can easily unfold them and pitch them for shelter and rest. "
