هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ(1)

 Nje oro nipa ohun t’o maa bo eda mole ti de odo re

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ(2)

 Awon oju kan yoo wale (ni ti iyepere) ni ojo yen

عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ(3)

 Onise asekudorogbo (ni won nile aye)

تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً(4)

 Won maa wo inu Ina t’o gbona janjan (ni orun)

تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ(5)

 Won si maa fun (won) ni omi gbigbona mu

لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ(6)

 Ko si ounje kan fun won ayafi igi elegun-un gbigbe

لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ(7)

 Ko nii mu won sanra. Ko si nii ro won loro ninu ebi

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ(8)

 Awon oju kan yo si kun fun igbadun ni ojo yen

لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ(9)

 nitori pe (o) yonu si (esan) ise re

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ(10)

 (O maa) wa ninu Ogba Idera giga

لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً(11)

 Won ko nii gbo isokuso ninu re

فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ(12)

 Omi iseleru t’o n san wa ninu re

فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ(13)

 Awon ibusun ti won gbe soke wa ninu re

وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ(14)

 ati awon ife imumi ti won gbe kale (si arowoto won)

وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ(15)

 ati awon irori ti won to si egbe ara won

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ(16)

 ati awon ite ateeka

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ(17)

 Nitori naa, se won ko wo rakunmi, bi A ti seda re ni

وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ(18)

 ati sanmo, bi A ti se gbe e soke

وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ(19)

 ati apata, bi A ti se gbe e naro (sinu ile)

وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ(20)

 ati ile, bi A ti se te e sile ni gbansasa

فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ(21)

 Nitori naa, seranti. Iwo kuku ni oluseranti

لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ(22)

 Iwo ki i se ajeni-nipa lori won

إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ(23)

 afi eni ti o ba peyinda (si ododo), ti o si sai gbagbo

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ(24)

 Allahu si maa je e niya t’o tobi julo

إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ(25)

 Dajudaju odo Wa ni abo won wa

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم(26)

 Leyin naa, dajudaju Awa l’A maa se isiro-ise won
