surah Anam aya 108 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَلَا تَسُبُّوا الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّوا اللَّهَ عَدْوًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ﴾
[ الأنعام: 108]
6:108 And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishO believers, do not insult the idols that they worship alongside Allah, even though they be deserving of that, for then the idolaters due to ignorance would insult Allah unknowingly, may He be glorified.
Just as He made their misguidance fair seeming to them, He makes the behaviour of every nation, be it good or bad, seem good to them and so they act accordingly.
Then their return on the Day of Rising is to their Lord, Who will inform them about what they used to do in the world and repay their actions.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do.

Wala tasubboo allatheena yadAAoona min dooni Allahi fayasubboo Allaha AAadwan bighayri AAilmin kathalika zayyanna likulli ommatin AAamalahum thumma ila rabbihim marjiAAuhum fayunabbiohum bima kanoo yaAAmaloona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And insult not those whom they worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall inform them of all that they used to do.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Thus did We allure every nation acting upon a given belief to brighter present and happier destiny, then back to Allah, their Creator, all are destined to go, there and then shall He inform them of all that their minds and souls had impelled them to do
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(6:108) Do not revile those whom they invoke other than Allah, because they will revile Allah in ignorance out of spite. *72For We have indeed made the deeds of every people seem fair to them. *73 Then, their return is to their Lord and He will inform them of what they have done.

The Prophet (peace be on him) and his followers are admonished not to allow their proselytizing zeal to dominate them so that their polemics and controversial religious discussions either lead them to be offensive to the beliefs of non-Muslims or to abuse their religious leaders and deities. Far from bringing people closer to the Truth, such an attitude is likely to alienate them from it further.
*73). Here we should bear in mind, as we have pointed out earlier, that God declares those things which take place as a result of the operation of the laws of nature to be His own acts, for it is He Who has made those laws. Whatever results from the operation of those laws, therefore, results from His command. Whenever God states that a certain act was His, the same might be described by humans as occurring in the natural course of things.

اور (اے ایمان لانے والو!) یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا جن کو پکارتے ہیں انہیں گالیاں نہ دو، کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ یہ شرک سے آگے بڑھ کر جہالت کی بنا پر اللہ کو گالیاں دینے لگیں ہم نے اسی طرح ہر گروہ کے لیے اس کے عمل کو خوشنما بنا دیا ہے پھر انہیں اپنے رب ہی کی طرف پلٹ کر آنا ہے، اُس وقت وہ اُنہیں بتا دے گا کہ وہ کیا کرتے رہے ہیں
