surah Nisa aya 111 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَمَن يَكْسِبْ إِثْمًا فَإِنَّمَا يَكْسِبُهُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا﴾
[ النساء: 111]
4:111 And whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThose who commit a minor or major sin will have to face the punishment themselves.
No one else will be held responsible.
Allah knows the actions of His servants and is Wise in His planning and legislation.

And whoever earns sin, he earns it only against himself. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Waman yaksib ithman fainnama yaksibuhu AAala nafsihi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman

And if any one earns sin. he earns it against His own soul: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.
