surah Nisa aya 117 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿إِن يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلَّا إِنَاثًا وَإِن يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَانًا مَّرِيدًا﴾
[ النساء: 117]
4:117 They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishInstead of Allah, the idolators in Makkah worship female idols which were named with feminine names, such as al-Lāt and al-‘Uzzā, which can neither benefit nor harm anyone.
In reality, they only worship Satan, who rebelled and sinned against his Lord, as he is the one who instructed them to worship the idols.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They (all those who worship others than Allah) invoke nothing but female deities besides Him (Allah), and they invoke nothing but Shaitan (Satan), a persistent rebel!

(The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They invoke nothing but female deities besides Him (Allah), and they invoke nothing but Shaytan, a persistent rebel!

They simply pay reverence and veneration to idols designated by female appellations -goddesses- and invoke them besides Allah. It is a visible manifestation of Al-Shaytan and an attribute they wear chiefly by his instrumentality. In fact they invoke and reverence none but the Devil who is evil personified

*145). No one sets up Satan as his 'god' in the sense that he makes him the object of his ritual worship and declares him to be God in so many words. The way to make Satan one's god is to entrust one's reins to him and let oneself be drawn helplessly in whichever direction he wants; the relationship between the two is, then, that of worshipper and worshipped. This shows that either absolute, unreserved obedience to or blind following of anybody is tantamount to 'worshipping' him, so that whoever indulges in this kind of absolute obedience is guilty of worshipping a 'god' other than the One True God.
